The converting line consists of a UV varnish, lamination/supergloss length slitting and a sheeter module. This means that the line can make both roll-to-roll and sheeted products. Operation can be both inline with a dancer or offline (optional unwind module). Typical applications are banners, folders, post cards and roll-to-roll printed labels (not die cut). Single unit in-line or off-line converting for digital workflows.
The line is operated by a touch display and available for web widths of 330mm (~13.0”) or 515mm (~20.3”). The sheeting is done by a guillotine cutter, which is also suitable for cutting heavy materials. The sheeter easily adjusts to cutting by label gaps, length or print marks with a resolution of 0.1mm (~0.004”) and an approximate accuracy of ± 0.15mm. The machine can be supplied with rotating length slitting.
